Measure, measure, measure!!!!
Measure in cooking.
Measure the length of objects.  Older students convert from inches to feet and the reverse.  Also measure using the metric system and convert from centimeters to meters. 
Weigh food objects at the store.  Try it in ounces to pounds and try it in grams to kilograms.

Reminder:  Most math done for science uses the metric system.

To receive an E in Science Special a student has to bring in 2 extra credits during the nine week period.
Ideas for Extra Credit:
Science articles from magazines or newspapers that students can share in their own words.

Get a 100 on an AR test using a non-fiction science book.

Bring in your ticket stub or receipt after visiting a science museum like Fernbank.
